Giovanna Luzardo
After becoming a mom and working in corporate America for a few years, Giovanna decided to put her passion into practice and start her own Spanish Immersion day care and preschool. She loves children and strongly believes what someone learns in early childhood will influence a person's development and success in the future. She wanted to create a program that is both academically fulfilling and enjoyable for the kids, while learning a new language at the same time.
She believes the first five years are the time to learn a language, not as a chore or assignment, but just naturally. Her children are growing up multilingual, speaking Spanish, English and French.
Born and raised in Venezuela, she has lived in San Francisco for eighteen years and eight years ago became a proud US citizen! She worked with children all through her teenage years and is looking forward to the opportunity to learn from a child's wisdom again.
Giovanna has all required certifications including CPR, First Aid and Health & Safety training. She also has a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from Universidad Central de Venezuela, and a M. A. in International and Development Economics from University of San Francisco.
